Picton Street Winter Fayre: Saturday December 13th 2025

History & Growth:

Origin: The Picton Street Winter Fayre is a community-led Christmas event in Bristol's Montpelier neighbourhood, first held in the early 2010s. It grew rapidly into a popular event featuring local crafts, music, and produce to raise funds for local charities.

Community Focus: It's a grassroots event where the local community comes together to celebrate the best of local arts, crafts, and produce.

Fundraising: A core aspect of the fayre is its role as a fundraiser, with proceeds from the mulled wine and cider bar going to chosen local good causes.

What to Expect:

Stalls: The event features many stalls where local artists and craftspeople sell their work, including gifts for Christmas shopping. The street will be bursting with stalls selling locally-made goods.

Music: A music stage provides live entertainment with a variety of local musicians performing a lovely and eclectic selection of live music for the public to enjoy and dance to. All the local musicians and all volunteers gave their services for free.

Community Spirit: It's a lively community gathering that brings thousands of people from across Bristol to Montpelier's Picton Street for festive enjoyment.
